Nice restaurant upstairs (use elevator) with fine food and good price niveau. Friendly staff and high terrace as view point over Funchal. Recommended for visitors in the old town/ harbor area.

Nice place, pretty good food, no complaints there. There is a view. It's not fine dining, but it's good food. Drinks are hit or miss, desserts lack any hot options. Great service

The restaurant is wheelchair accessible by elevator. Were there several times for drinks only. Fair prices, very good coffee, polite staff, superb view, very recommendable! Food looks and smells good, however as expressed before, we had drinks only. Reiner and Heike

Absolutely recommended! Go upstairs on the terrace for a nice and relaxed dinner. Good quality food and nice staff.

The restaurant is hard to find as the entrance is through the museum. The advertisement outside doesn't reflect how nice the place actually is. The rooftop restaurant is widely open with a beautiful view on the skyline of Funchal and on the forefront with a park. The staff was good but could be a bit more attentive when it comes to taking the order and checking on the guests after the food is served. Nevertheless, the food was really good and we enjoyed some delicious Beef. Once you're done eating, make sure to go one floor higher to the view point with a 360 degree view of the capital of Madeira.

Great food and great service. Phillipe from downstairs recommended. The limpets were excellent. Don’t forget to go down to the cafe and sample the local poncha and wines!
